Delete your account

You can delete your GoEventify account at any time, directly from the app. You do not need to contact us first, and deleting your account is free.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the GoEventify app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm twice. Your account is deleted immediately.

You will be signed out on every device as soon as the deletion completes.

What is deleted

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • Your profile photo, pincode and saved location
  • Your saved vendors and in-app notifications
  • Your notification device tokens, so push notifications stop
  • All one-time-password (OTP) records associated with your number
  • If you are a vendor: your shop name, owner name, business address, GST number and portfolio images. Your listing stops appearing in search immediately.

What is kept, and why

Messages, quotes and enquiries you exchanged with another person are kept, but they are no longer linked to your name or phone number — they appear without a sender identity.

We keep them because a conversation belongs to both people in it. Removing your messages would delete part of the other person’s record of an agreement they may still be relying on, and that record is not ours to take from them.

We may also retain transaction and invoice records where Indian tax and accounting law requires it. These are kept only for as long as the law requires and are not used to contact you.

Can I get my account back?

No. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed, including by our support team.

You are welcome to sign up again with the same phone number, but it will be a new account — nothing from the deleted one carries over.

If you cannot access the app

If you have lost access to your phone number and cannot sign in to delete your account yourself, email us at support@goeventify.com from the email address on your account, or include enough detail for us to identify it. We will verify your identity before deleting anything and will respond within 30 days.
